I haven't written anything for a while so I thought I would do a quick post about neurodiverse sensory friendly costume ideas for Halloween. This post focuses on sharing some helpful resources about what you can do to give your child a great Halloween costume without such a high risk of triggering their sensitivities. Safe Trick-or-Treating for Autistic children: Ok so not a resource about sensory and neurodiverse-friendly costumes; however it does address the very important needs of having a safe, sensory-friendly trick-or-treat experience. Remember that a sensory-friendly costume won't count for much if efforts are not made to help mitigate sensory overload when putting the costume to use.
